"Summer is ending" recited a song by the Righeira brothers from a few years ago. We acknowledge this, but even though the end of summer may evoke feelings of melancholy, my dear friend Maida Polentarutti and I believe that, as the autumn equinox approaches, it is worth making the most of the closing season and the one about to begin. The most suitable setting for such a fusion is VILLA MANIN, where the exhibition IN THE GARDEN OF DOGE MANIN will be held. Coordinated by the social cooperative AGRICOLA MONTE SAN PANTALEONE, the event takes place in the most important historic garden of Friuli Venezia Giulia; an oasis of almost 18 hectares among gravel plains and springs in the Bassa Friulana area. Your navigator will certainly guide you there. In fact, it is a rather popular tourist destination around here.
In reality, more than an exhibition, it is a fair of plants and garden furnishings. In addition to the exhibition stands, there will also be recreational and cultural meetings, and this year water will be at the center of the debates. Among the exhibitors, selected by Lili Soldatich and coming from both Italy and other countries, we will also be present.
Only a few months have passed since our last exhibition together, but as they say, you don't change a winning team. Promoted by the REGIONAL CULTURAL HERITAGE AUTHORITY OF FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA, the fair IN THE GARDEN OF DOGE MANIN has reached its 15th edition but, for us, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September will be the first time.
